so i planted some asters about a week ago i just want to know what they need and all that stuff oh and by the way they already sprouted two little tiny leaves.
Everything i need to know about asters.. (the flower)?
The first aster grew 5ft with 1 flower at the top.Be VERY CAREFUL where you plant them. They spread roots just below the surface. Now I trim them at 1 FT intervals for branching, until they bud.
Reply:You've done better than me - mine wont germinate! I think they need lots of nutrients and to be clipped back every year. when they go dorment put some hay or manure around the base of the stems
